“Halal suitable” means that:
- Our raw chicken is halal certified.
- However, the chicken is marinated in a facility that may handle non-halal products.
- Chipotle UK restaurants serve pork (Carnitas) and alcohol, and while we follow strict food safety practices, cross-contamination cannot be fully ruled out.
Are any other proteins at Chipotle halal suitable?
- No. Only certain locations offer chicken from a halal-certified source. Steak, Barbacoa, and Carnitas (pork) are not certified halal.
